During the summer of 2015<\/a>we announced that our member Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Del Nero<\/strong> was able to extract the monitor ROM from the Squale<\/strong>a French microcomputer that for a long time was thought never to have been marketed - until the manager of its manufacturer Apollo 7<\/strong> set the record straight<\/a> just over ten years ago! As explained at the time, the next step was to design an emulator for the machine, and thus create new programmes. While waiting - why not? - a possible game, this is a demo<\/em> which Jean-Fran\u00e7ois coded (shown below on an LCD and then a CRT screen), of course the very first on this machine, one thousand of which were produced in 1985, and half of which would have found takers:<\/p>\n
