The MO5.COM association has the great pleasure of announcing that Marc “Marcus” Lacombe, host of Chez Marcus and Retro Game One, has just joined the association as an honorary member. He will also participate in the Support Committee for the National Video Games Museum.
He considers our initiative necessary and welcome, and offers us his support by agreeing to become an honorary member of the association. There is no doubt that the support of such a personality from the world of video games will help us to make ourselves known and develop.
Born October 28, 1966, Marc Lacombe began his career as a journalist in 1989 as a freelancer, notably for Micro News, Tilt and Consoles+. In the 90s, he participated in the pioneering video game television shows, Micro Kid's and Cyber Flash, but it was especially in 1998 that gamers got to know him when he became the presenter of Level One on the first channel dedicated to video games, Game One. He hosted it until his departure from the channel in 2002, then spent a few months on Fun TV, filmed show pilots and made numerous appearances for different channels as well as for Micromania stores. June 2007 marked his big return to the forefront with the creation of the Nolife channel where he hosted Chez Marcus. A few months later, he also returned to Game One to present the show Retro Game One, but also recently Le Débat de Game One. At the same time, Marc Lacombe produces a mood post for the site Jeuxactu.com and published in 2011 the book Our video games from the 70s-90s with Hors Collection editions. He is also interested in board games with the show La tête dans le pion.
