On 13 April, the Club de l'Étoile has never been so close to our favourite field, since it is the film adaptation of the comic books Scott Pilgrimproduced by Edgard Wright in 2010, which will be screened.
Scott Pilgrim has never had a problem finding a girlfriend, but getting rid of one is proving more complicated. Between the girl who broke his heart - and is now back in town - and the teenage girl who serves as a distraction when Ramona enters his life - on rollerblades - love has never been easy. But he soon realises that the new object of his affection has the most peculiar baggage he's ever encountered: an infamous league of exes who control his love life and will do anything to eliminate his new beau. As Scott grows closer to Ramona, he's confronted by a growing array of the same people who populate his sweetheart's past: from a mean skateboarder to a vegetarian rock star to a pair of hideous twins. And if he hopes to seduce the love of his life, he must triumph over each of them before the game is well and truly over.
Organised with BiTS and NoCinéAs usual, the screening will be preceded by the recording of a live podcast with Rafik Djoumi, but the cinema doors will open a little earlier to allow you to have a drink while discovering two retro games corresponding to the evening's theme.
