Following\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mag.mo5.com\/a-la-une\/102535\/edito-la-pc-engine-la-console-du-shoot-em-up\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a more personal editorial<\/a>\u00a0By definition, in March we wanted to take a look back at the very special genesis and design of this console - or rather, this range of machines. The one that was not very far from imposing\u00a0<strong>NEC<\/strong>\u00a0as the third major manufacturer with\u00a0<strong>Nintendo<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>SEGA<\/strong>\u00a0unfortunately did not enjoy the same success in the West as it did in Japan, despite the bold initiative of\u00a0<strong>Sodipeng<\/strong>\u00a0in France, which we will of course cover in this programme.<\/p>\n<p>To do just that, we called on a French journalist who defended it tooth and nail in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mag.mo5.com\/actu\/66709\/les-podcasts-de-mo5-com-31-lhistoire-de-consoles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Consoles+<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0at the time, our eminent member\u00a0<strong>Douglas Alves<\/strong>who teaches History of Video Games.
