Cyril Drevet

Born on 22 January 1970, Cyril Drevet was immersed in the world of television from an early age, thanks to his father, weather presenter Patrice Drevet. That's how he came to present a weekly column dedicated to video games on the TV programme Matin Bonheurfollowed by others on France 3 and La Cinq.

He also became a writer for Joystick then Amstrad Cent Pour Cent. The latter's editor-in-chief, Pierre Valls, invited him to join the adventure. Player Onethe very first magazine dedicated exclusively to games consoles, for which Cyril will take the famous pseudonym of Prawn.

This success led him to present, for a year and a half, the programme Televisator 2 broadcast on France 2, and a version of Player One on MCM. He then continued at Club Dorothéethen on TMC with Kid's Récréfrom 1996 to 2001. When Player One went bankrupt, he decided to combine video games with his other passion, cars, with the show Turbo on M6, in which he frequently reports on racing games, as well as video game programmes Game Start on AB Moteurs, and Cyber Sports on AB Sports/Pathé Sports.

It arrived on the Gameblogwhere he hosted Versus withAlain Huygues Lacourand is currently presenting Backstage. He also writes in Pix'n Love and for the magazine Planet Robotswhere he talks about the contribution of robotics to his two passions, video games and cars.
