Why join ?
Joining MO5.COM is a way to show your support and interest in our action towards the preservation and sharing of the computing heritage. The more we are, the more legitimate we will be to ask for institutional support to facilitate the creation of a true national museum of video game. By joining us, you also join a community of computing history and video game enthusiasts, and you can actively participate in the realization of our project, by taking part in our activities: management of our collections, exhibitions, communication, audiovisual contents, etc.
The association is headquartered near Paris, France, but I live in another area or another country. Is it really useful for me to join?
Yes! The sheer fact of joining is important for the association. Moreover, should you wish to, you can still get involved in our activities despite your geographical remoteness: we organize exhibitions outside Paris (or even abroad) on a regular basis, and several of our activities do not require you to be physically present on our premises – web development, graphic design, preparation of podcasts, etc.
Why a Tipeee?
The association must meet recurring financial needs: rent, charges, purchase of items for our core collection and our exhibitions, etc. Setting up donations through Tipeee provides regular and predictable cash flows, which allows us to manage our budget in an efficient way.
