Opened in 2011, the Gaîté Lyrique is a cultural institution of the City of Paris dedicated to the encounter between the arts, technology and society. Conceived as a multidisciplinary platform, the Gaîté Lyrique takes an informed, critical, offbeat and amused look at popular cultures, digital practices and their emerging artistic forms. A place for artists to meet and work, the Gaîté Lyrique is open to all to visit an exhibition, see a concert, attend a lecture, have a drink or take part in a workshop.
