We recently received a large special Philips donation from Hélène H., whom we would like to thank once again. For the record, she worked for Thomson for a long time and with her husband, they both worked on the MO5, TO7, TO9 and on the 16-bit machine based on the 68000 which, alas, never saw the light of day because the firm had decided to stop. Then Hélène went to work for Philips. Inevitably, they had a gold mine which they graciously handed over to the association.
The console + controllers, which we no longer present, in box, in superb condition:
Not alone, a selection of games, interactive films and prototype versions of games:
As a bonus, we had the 100 issues of Linux Magazine, also very well preserved.
Beautiful pieces that have gone straight to the heart of our collection!
PS: I'm taking advantage of this post to announce that we'll be at Paris Games Week 2016 at the Parc des Expos de Porte de Versailles in Paris, so don't hesitate to come and see us on the stand and if you have any equipment to donate, don't ask any more questions and bring it straight away! See you next week 🙂
