During the summer of 2015we announced that our member Jean-François Del Nero was able to extract the monitor ROM from the Squalea French microcomputer that for a long time was thought never to have been marketed - until the manager of its manufacturer Apollo 7 set the record straight just over ten years ago! As explained at the time, the next step was to design an emulator for the machine, and thus create new programmes. While waiting - why not? - a possible game, this is a demo which Jean-François coded (shown below on an LCD and then a CRT screen), of course the very first on this machine, one thousand of which were produced in 1985, and half of which would have found takers:
