Paris Games Week 2015 took place from 28 October to 1 November at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in Paris. And this year, MO5.com was once again present as a partner of the SELL to create the official retrogaming stand at the show.
The 230m2 space was divided into two sections. In the arcade section, run by our partner Coin-Op Legacy, visitors could enjoy classic games such as Pac-Man, Defender, After Burner II or even Super Street Fighter II X.
The atmosphere was more subdued on the show floor, where we offered classic games on thirteen consoles and microcomputers, from the 80s to 2000, from Shadow of the Beast on Amiga, at Shadow of the Colossus on PlayStation 2, and Super Mario 64 or even R-Type on PC-Engine. Not forgetting, as is our custom, the indestructible Saturn Bombermanwhich allowed 10 players to compete simultaneously in front of an enthusiastic audience.
We also had the great pleasure of welcoming some of the great names in video games, including Frédéric Raynal, and Dino Dini, creator of the famous Kick Off.
Paris Games Week has been a growing success, with over 300,000 visitors this year, and we'd like to extend our warmest thanks to all those who came to visit us, and to whom we were able to help discover or rediscover a piece of videogame history.
