Podcast #15 - Homebrew Games
With a little less delay than last month, MO5.COM Podcasts are back to bring to a close a tetralogy that began a year ago with our podcast dedicated to retrogaming, and continued with re-releases and neo-retro. We're now tackling the fourth aspect of our passion, namely homebrew games, those titles designed by amateurs.
Podcast #14 - Survival Horror
With (a little) less delay than last month, MO5.COM Podcasts returns for a fourteenth show that was - let's be transparent here too - put together at the last minute, but is nonetheless topical. With the joint publication of our editorial and the first details on the next game
Podcast #13 - Video Games in Art
We're not necessarily superstitious, but we have to admit that MO5.COM Podcasts is back at the last minute for its thirteenth issue. Last time it was the recording that got in the way, this time it was the organisation. But in the end we're very pleased with this reflection on Video Games in Art, which is to say
Podcast #12 - Love and video games
Just a few days before their anniversary, MO5.COM Podcasts are celebrating the most romantic (or not) month of the year with a programme dedicated to Love and its representation in video games, for better or worse. Because in the days of big pixels, emotions didn't come across very well on screen.
Podcast #11 - Neo-Retro Indie Games
After a hugely successful Christmas podcast thanks to you (thank you!), MO5.COM Podcasts are back for a more traditional episode. It follows on from the programmes on retrogaming and on re-releases and remakes by looking at the neo-retro phenomenon from the angle of indie games. So we've invited two specialists in the genre, Matthieu 'Boulapoire' and his team.
Podcast #10 - The Joypad story
We promised a surprise last time for the final show of 2012. With the release of The Hobbit in cinemas, it was only logical that MO5.COM Podcasts should return for an episode featuring Gollum, and with a length worthy of Peter Jackson's films! This special podcast is the first, but not the only, to feature Gollum.
Podcast #9 - The arcade
The lead-up to the last episode didn't prevent the latest edition of MO5.COM Podcasts from arriving behind schedule, but we hope it's worth the wait. The Arcade is a very wide-ranging subject, and even with four of us the recording session broke records for its length! With Greg
Podcast #8 - Video games on television
To make up for the delay in the last episode, MO5.COM Podcasts are back to tackle the difficult relationship between television and video games. In the company of Bertrand Amar, producer and host of numerous programmes dedicated to our discipline, we'll be looking back at the changes and difficulties in the way video games are discussed on television.
Podcast #7 - Reissues and remakes
The MO5.COM Podcasts are back in full swing (even though we were there this summer too!) with a programme that extends the thinking started in our second podcast dedicated to retrogaming in general. We look at the special case of re-releases and remakes, before moving on to homebrew and neo-retro. And what better than the leader
Podcast #6 - Olympic Games and Video Games
The MO5.COM Podcasts are back for the London Olympic Games. Still in partnership with Freepod, but recorded exceptionally at the association's premises using their equipment, this podcast looks at the history of multi-event games, developments in gameplay, the problems associated with this particular genre and the view of the press, in the company of fencing champion Jean-Michel
