The 33rd Computer viruses recounted the operation carried out jointly by the associations WDA, Museum Replay, BIOS and MO5.COM to safeguard the collections of the former "Musée de l'informatique", which has been abandoned since it closed in 2010. Most of these very rare and bulky items are currently stored near Rouen, but need to be moved urgently, and the four associations want to preserve them in a pooled reserve set up in a permanent location, the Provençal domain of Saint-Antonin.
But given the distance and, above all, the nature of the equipment to be transported (machines weighing several hundred kilos, such as the T1600), you need to use professional removers, which comes at a price. That's why we've set up a fund. Leetchi to collect 4500 € and thus complete this very important operation for the preservation of our IT heritage. Thank you in advance for your support.
