Stunfest 2016 took place from 20 to 22 May 2016 at Le Liberté in Rennes. Initially focused on fighting games, this festival has grown since its inception in 2005 and now deals with video games in general. Although Versus Fighting is the main focus, the Arcade side of things has had a very good scene for some years now.
This year, MO5.COM had a stand featuring a number of quality games that are little known to the general public, such as Elemental Gearbolt on PlayStation, a very good quality shooter with a masterful soundtrack. We also brought out some 'exotic' machines such as the Videopac and the TO8D.
Of course, Saturn Bomberman was the focal point, and many, many of you turned out to battle it out!
We'd also like to take this opportunity to mention our friends from the RGC, who had also come along to present a large retro stand. There's going to be some news from them, but we'll tell you all about it a little later.
This year, we had a slot on the main stage for Saturn Bomberman and players were able to battle it out on Saturday night, with commentary by Kendo. Broadcast live via streaming, pushed by the control room who wanted to stop the massacre, Saturday night was fabulous.
And we also received a splendid donation from Guillaume R., to whom we extend our warmest thanks.
The stand was a great success and once again we'd like to thank the organisers of Stunfest, Guillaume R. and the members who made it happen, David and Sébastien. See you next year, Rennes residents and the whole Brittany community.
