If this new issue of MO5.COM podcasts arrives 'only' two months after the previouswe had planned to do so much earlier, as shown by our choice of the French anniversary of the Nintendo 64which was the last to arrive in France. It has to be said that we brought to Paris for the occasion Mathieu Manentauthor (among others) of Nintendo 64 Anthology which also reveals a few scoops about Geeks-Line... But we really needed a specialist to talk about this console, which has divided many gamers, from the die-hard fans of Nintendo on the one hand, and those who preferred the manufacturer's 16-bit for its rich catalogue of games from third-party publishers on the other. Nevertheless, rarely has a machine illustrated so well the adage that quality takes precedence over quantity, with no fewer than 45 million sellers in your games library! Revolutionary titles such as Super Mario 64, Wave Race 64, GoldenEye 007 or even Ocarina of Timebut also an infamous game by Titus and, of course, the difficult genesis of the console... Finally, this podcast marks a double return, that of Belasco and long-lasting programmes!
The participants in this podcast are :
- Mathieu Manentauthor of the book Nintendo 64 Anthology at Geeks-Line
- SSeb22author of My 'career' as a player, gameblogger and prolific tester

Bonus feature: The programme covers the Mario virtual at CES 1992 and the hilarious promotional video (and misleading) Project Reality. We would also like to take this opportunity to mention the recent release of Super Mario 64 Onlinea hack a 24-person classic directed by Kaze Emanuar. Nintendo had the video removed but the download link is still there.
Erratum : During the show, Guillaume states that WipEout 64 is the best-selling episode in the series, according to an article inOscar Lemaireavailable at Gamekult but for subscribers only. In fact, while figures are lacking for the licence, this is only true in the United States and on home consoles, which corroborates what is said during the podcast, namely that the series is most popular in Europe.
